WP Job Manager is a lightweight for adding job-board and easy to use. Create new pages, add shortcodes and you can have a live job board in minutes. This allows users to register on your website and publish their vacancies.

The first thing you need to do is install and activate the WP Job Manager plugin.
After activation, you must create a few pages that the plug-in will use to display different sections of your job board. On each page, you only have to enter a title and then add a shortcode.
Let’s get started.
- Simply create a new page and enter Page Title “Jobs“. In the content area, add the shortcode “jobs” and Publish the page.
- Repeat the process to create a ‘Submit Job Listing’ page and add the shortcode “submit_job_form“, publish it.
- Finally, you must create a “Task Dashboard” page and enter the shortcode “job_dashboard”.
Note: All the shortcodes place within the square brackets i.e [shortcode]
Now that you have created all the required pages, we will continue with the settings of WP Job Manager plugin.
Go to Job Listings » Settings page and click on the ‘Pages’ tab.
From here, you need to select the pages you have created earlier and then click on the save changes button to store your settings.
After that, you need to review other settings on the page.
WP Job Manager Settings for Job Board in WordPress
Let’s start with the ‘General’ tab first.
On the general page, you can select the date format, add Google Maps API key, or delete data when you uninstall the plugin.
After this, you can switch to the ‘Job Listing tab. There are a number of options on this page to manage the display and available job vacancies. You must assess and adjust them to your own requirements.
You can also manage job vacancies by switching to the ‘Job submission tab’. Here you can manage new account settings, change submissions, edit controls and more.
To protect your website from automated spam, you must switch to the reCaptcha tab and enable it by adding the API keys. You will find a link to generate the required API keys next to each option. You can control Email notifications under the ‘Email Notifications’ tab.
Once you are done, don’t forget to click the Save Changes button to save your settings.
Adding New Job Listings
Depending on your settings, logged-in users can submit jobs directly from Submit Jobs page you created earlier. The administrator can directly add jobs from the WordPress admin area.
Just go to the job Listing »Add a new page and provide a title, description and job type for the job list that you are adding.
you must scroll down to the Order Listing Details section. There you can provide more information about the task, such as location, e-mail of the application or URL, company information, company logo, the expiry date of the vacancy, etc.
After filling the job listing data, you can preview the job by clicking on the preview button. you can manage existing job listing from Job Listings » All Job Listings.
